KEOLADEO GHANA NATIONAL PARK

This fascinating nature reserve at Bharatpur deserves more than one visit. We went three times over a day and a half, and it was barely enough. Undoubtedly this was one of the highlights of our trip to India. We saw sixty six different types of bird , most of which we had never seen before, and we enjoyed our it immensely. Our guide, Laxmi kant Mugdal, was so knowledgeable that it was a joy to have him with us. Unfortunately we had not the time nor the equipment for serious bird photography, but there was so much to see and enjoy that it hardly seemed to matter.
